RFC 3031 - MPLS Architecture

Today I read MPLS Architecture RFC, RFC stands for Request for Comments, and are fully detail about particular technology and freely available for everyone. In this RFC numbers of terminologies are clearly explained and I believe it has every thing to know about MPLS, be clear it is only about MPLS not MPLS VPN and also not about Label distributed protocol. I will be posting other RFC also in coming weak. As I love to read these because it gives better understanding of any technology.

Introduction

Hi All,

Well it might be, I have given you this blog address or you have reached here accidentally. What ever the case may be, I would like to thank and welcome you. This blog I primary started for the study I am doing, to achieve my CCIE. To keep myself motivated and it might also inspire others to start their goals as well.

Well little bit about my career background, I am in IT field for 3 years or so. I am very much interested in Cisco technologies so started with CCNA follow the classic way and become CCNP but while I am doing these studies I got interest in MPLS, BGP and Service Provider related technologies. So I decided to get my CCIE in Service Provider.

Well rest will be , how I will proceed with my CCIE SP study goal, I am yet to write my written exam which I am aiming somewhere in April last. Afterwards I will start preparing for the lab.

I will be soon posting the list of books which I am going to use for my CCIE SP written exam.
